MyRate - OBD II Data Logger
Here's an interesting gadget - or not, depending on how you feel about your automobile privacy: the MyRate OBD II Data Logger.
It's a small device you can plug into your vehicle OBD II connector that keeps track of your driving habits (a bit like that Carman.)
What's that good for? Well, insurance companies can use that to analyse how you drive and offer discounts for "good" drivers.
And if you think driving "nice" doesn't pay, just check these graphics from a german magazine testing how fuel consumption changes according to speed.
Driving at 140Km/h you're spending nearly twice the fuel than traveling at 80Km/h.
