Google Offers Gmail Credits

After the panic attack felt by millions of users last monday, when they woke up to a inaccessible Gmail service, Google is now offering a 15 day credit to paying customers.

For all the Google bashers out there, I simply ask you: when was the last time you received a similar credit from your power, water, internet, tv, or phone company?
I do understand it's a serious issue - even more for companies depending on it to do their business - but just like any other service, it *can* go out (Murphy's Laws affect everyone and everybody - and Google's no exception.)

As for what caused this Gmail outage, there's still no word about it.
