The CrunchPad (the low cost tablet PC from TechCrunch) is almost ready for prime time, and...it's looking better than ever.
Instead of plastic, it will have an aluminum case with a flush screen, and a thickness of just 18mm.
The tablet will boot directly (and hopefully, instantly) into a webkit-based browser:
Will this tablet initiate a new netbook-like craze in the upcoming months? Let's wait and see.
I sure would love to have one of these internet tablets around... I just wish they could use one of those new 3qi e-ink-like multi-mode LCDs.
