There's nothing more annoying that plugging your iPhone to an USB charger and getting the dreaded "Charging is not supported with this accessory".
How can it be that generic electricity isn't good enough for Apple's devices?
Well, thanks to a hacker, we have now found why this happens, and it's all due to some secret resistors on the USB data lines.
