Though it used nothing new, the new iPad 2 magnetic SmartCovers were one of the things a lot of people really liked about Apple's new tablet.
Unfortunately, that left iPad 1 owners a bit sad, as those covers are not usable with their first generation iPad - as it lacked the magnetic attachment areas present in the iPad 2.
But, in the best MacGyver tradition, nothing is impossible, and you wont' even need duct tape... although you'll be using some super-glue! :)
I sincerely don't know how many iPad 1 owners will be willing to superglue magnets to their iPads in order to use the new smartcovers. But in case you're one of them, here's the how to use SmartCovers on the iPad 1.
