Super Sized Moon [with Pic]
If you're not to keen on looking up to night sky, be sure to make an exception tomorrow, March 19th, 2011.
The Moon will be at its closest point to Earth, making it 14% bigger than it is at its furthest point, and offering us an amazing super-sized Moon.
The last time this happened was 18 years ago. So, be sure not to miss this opportunity to see a large splendid Moon.
Update: Here's how the moon is out there today...
Isn't it incredible what the kind of photos you can grab these days, with a simple digital camera? (And it's just a regular hand-held photo, no tripods or anything else but the in-camera image stabilization holding it all together... :)
