Withings Smart Baby Monitor
Some of you might have heard of Withings due to their WiFi connected body scales that keep track of your body weight and other data to keep you "on track". Bu now, Withing has a new product that will appeal all new (and repeating) parents: the Withings Smart Baby Monitor.
It's isn't exactly cheap, costing 300€, and you might be tempted to try out cheaper WiFi IP Cameras. But, if you don't want to mess around with lengthy and troublesome configuration procedures, this might be a better option.
Besides, this Smart Baby Monitor offers a lot more than a simple PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) WiFi camera: not only it works as an intercom, allowing you to hear and talk back to your baby; it also serves a fully configurable RGB night light, music box, and monitors temperature, humidity, and baby movement.
Also, you can access it not only via WiFi but also via wired ethernet connection, and even bluetooth via your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. (If you're accessing it outside your home network, you'll be restricted to 15 minutes of streaming per day... With extra time costing you extra.)
But, even if you're planning on using it at home, keeping an eye on your baby while you're in the living room or your own bedroom... you can keep it streaming all night with no limit whatsoever.
