Take this one with a big grain of salt, but according to some reports, Samsung might be about to unleash a truly wondrous beast in the smartphone market; the new and ever-improved Samsung Galaxy S3.
Besides the 1.5Ghz quad-core CPU (that other manufacturers are also announcing), 4G/LTE support, and a "simple" 8MP - things that wouldn't make any high-end aficionado even turn his/her head - Samsung ups the ante with a 4.8" FullHD 1080p screen!
Is it really possible? I find it hard to believe, seeing just how much trouble Samsung has been having producing 720p OLED screens in similarly sized dimensions.
Anyway, I do hope it's true (even though it remains to be seen if we really "need" such high-density pixels on a mobile device).
