Microsoft gets New Logo (after 25 years)

After remaining untouched for nearly 25 years Microsoft has finally updated its logo and brand image with a new and more modern image that follows the steps initiated by its "formerly-known-as-Metro" design.

This isn't the firs time Microsoft has updated its logos, but that is quite significant as the previous logo remained unchanged for 25 years and has been the "image" several generations have grown to know.
Its original image lasted 4 years, from 1975 to 79; and was followed by an artistic "80's" logo that only lasted for a year and was quickly replaced by a more corporative one for the next four years (82-86), until the well-known and now replaced logo was unveiled in 1987.
