MIUI Xiaomi Phone 2
On desktop computers and laptops, we've already reached the point where even a "medium-range" system is more than enough for "everything" most users need. And on smartphones, it seems we're getting there sooner rather than later.
Take a look at the latest offering from MIUI, a chinese manufacturer that just unveiled their Xiaomi Phone 2. After you've climbed past its uncommon name, you'll find that we're not dealing with a cheap and lowly knock-off... quite the contrary. Here's what you'll get:
a last generation Snapdragon S4 quad-core CPU (28nm), with a speedy Adreno 320 GPU, a 4.3" LCD IPS screen with HD 720 resolution (1280x720), 2GB RAM, 16GB Flash, a 2000mAh battery (that you can replace with a 3000mAh one, if you're willing to add 2mm to its thickness), and last but not least, a 2MP frontal cameral and a 8MP main one, with a 27mm F2.0 lens.
But, best of all... this thing won't cost you 600€, nor 500€... but nearly half as much: ¥1,999... which corresponds to 254€!
To top it off, the Xiaomi Phone 2 should launch with the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on board. So... what else could you hope for?
