To promote Peter Jackson's new movie - The Hobbit - all of New Zealand is getting ready for its premiere... and that includes transforming Air New Zealand into Middle-earth's airline.
Check the following safety video that is being shown on Air New Zealand flights, and tell me it isn't one you really want to watch closely till the end? For once, you'll actually be watching the screen for the duration of the safey video!
The Hobbit will be released on November 28th... and I just hope I'll be able to catch it in one of its 48fps version! (Sick and tired of the lowly 24fps "classic" film rate that was only as classic as it was the absolute minimum to provide an - almost - adequate visual experience while saving as much film as possible!)
