Apple Do Not Disturb Lets People Undisturbed on the First Day of the Year
You'd think that after all the time-related mishaps that have happened before, Apple would have know better by now (do you remember the scheduled alarms not ringing after the daylight time saving changing?)
But on the first day of 2013, people who happened to have scheduled "Do Not Disturb" settings in their iPhones woke up to a more silent morning, as their iPhones failed to re-enable this setting. This setting does what you would expect: completely silences your iPhone, for both calls and notification sounds, allowing just calls from a preset list of callers (and repeated callers, if you so desire.)
Even though most people will like to sleep in in the 1st day of the year, I wonder if this will be the last of the time related problems that seem to plague Apple's iOS.
