Google Glass gets closer to Reality
Google hasn't forgotten their Project Glass concept, and are indeed working as fast as possible to make it a real device everyone can buy. In the first concept videos we saw things that were, quite frankly, over-optimistic and futuristic, and not affordably possible with current technology. But now, we see a much more realistic approach to what this Glass might achieve... and it looks nice.
This digital glass will be a milestone in the use of things like Google Now, with voice becoming the prime interface for interaction and becoming the first step into a "handsfree" computation era where we'll begin to consider the notion of carrying a smartphone or tablet around, occupying one or both hands, to be... pre-historic.
If you're lucky enough to live the USA, you can even try and get one of these Google Glasses now. You just need to tell Google (and the world) just how you'd use this device. For the rest of us, we'll have to wait a little longer... But I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
