DrawType is a iOS keyboard that let's you draw what you can't type
After years and years stuck with Apple's system keyboard on the iOS, we finally have the chance to try out and use other keyboards on iPhones and iPads, and this DrawType is a curious keyboard that allows you to draw whatever you don't want to type.
Is you're the sort of people that lives by the "a picture is worth a thousand words", then you'll love DrawType. This iOS keyboard doesn't have keys, and doesn't even require you to know how to read or write. Instead, you get a blank canvas that lets your draw whatever you want and paste the resulting image into a message or any other app that supports image "pasting".
Sure, for many people - like me - the time you'll probably spend trying to draw something recognizable will make you reconsider going back to a regular keyboard and just typing what you wish to say. But I imagine there are a lot of talented and creative folks out there that will do just fine drawing their messages in the DrawType.
DrawType costs $0.99 on the App Store, and although I think it's novelty will quickly wear off and drive you back to more common keyboards - like Swype or SwiftKey - one can never tell if this sort of thing might become viral and take the world by storm (just remember how the SMS came to be...)
