EVA smart shower aims to save water

If you're one of those people who can't resist prolonging their showers for as long as humanly possible - and perhaps even a bit more - then it's time to consider this EVA Smart Shower, that will help you keep your showers short and as efficient as possible.

With the rising cost of utilities, we can all appreciate all the help we can get to save money and reduce all kinds of waste. With this EVA, your shower will gain more brains than any other shower, and allow you to do all that and more.

EVA can simply be installed between the wall and your existing shower head, and it can not only monitor the duration and how much water you're using, but it can also detect your distance and regulate the water flow accordingly. Say you step back to apply shampoo, EVA will automatically reduce water flow; and if you step even further (to shave, for instance), it will save even more water. You can adjust the flow for the different zones using an app; and EVA will also make sure you won't waste running water waiting for it to reach the intended temperature, once it does, it will cut the flow until you're actually ready to take the shower.

Prices start at $109, which is reasonable, but we need to keep in mind this is an Indiegogo crowdfunding project, and this site's (bad) track record with dubious project makes any and all projects suffer from it. Anyway, I do hope this EVA gets to become a real and successful product, we'd all appreciate a smarter, water-saving shower.
