Doogee has a very nice lineup of devices for the coming months, and they've already shared the final specs for the Nova Y100 X, which not only comes with a very nice price, but with volume buttons on a curious position... on the back cover.
The Doogee Nova Y100 X has 5" HD screen with ultra-slim bezels (and 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3), a MediaTek MT6582 quad-core CPU at 1.3 GHz, 1GB RAM, 8GB flash memory, and 5MP and 8MP cameras. It has a thickness of just 6.9mm and it comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop.
One of the unusual things about it is that Doogee placed the volume buttons on the back. This isn't the first time a manufacturer places buttons on the back (LG has been doing it for a while, as well os some other brands) but they're usually placed on the center of the device; on this Nova Y100 X, the placement is right under the place you'd usually place your index finger when holding it with your right hand. I guess we'll have to wait to see how it "feels", but considering most devices have the buttons in that same area - although on the side - doesn't make it too radical. Though I also wonder if this placement might affect the way the device lays flat on a table...
And saving the best for last, this Doogee Nova Y100 X will be available for just $84.99.
