Want to jump on the activity tracker bandwagon but don't want to spend too much on it? Well, Xiaomi's Mi Band just got better, with the Mi Band Pulse that gets a hear rate monitor, but keeps it's absurdly low price of $15.
The Mi Band Pulse looks exactly like its predecessor, being just slightly larger to accommodate its brand new heart rate sensor that will keep an eye on your - you guess it - hear rate. Xiaomi also used a more resistant material for the bracelet itself, as some users reported it would break after a few months of use (not that it would matter much, as you can get new bracelets for less than $2 - but it's nice to know it will live longer now). And last but definitely not least, this new Mi Band Pulse still costs just $15.
Battery life has been reduced from 30 to 20 days, but even so, it's still the best price/quality activity tracker you can get, and it's compatible with both iOS and Android.
If you're looking for one of these devices to track you daily activity (and monitor your sleep as well), you won't be able to find a better deal. And the fact that it will sync its data to both Google Fit and Apple's HealthKit should help you keep a record of your data no matter what smartphone you use.
