Duolingo's Tinycards app lets you memorize nearly anything (including all the Pokémon names)
Duolingo has just launched an app you'll be able to use to memorize new languages and more, using simple cards and turning the entire process into a game.
The Tinycards apps allows you to select a deck of card referring to specific themes, ranging from foreign languages to countries and planets, and you'll soon be mastering your way through it, learning and memorizing facts and figures as you go.
One of the great things about it is that anyone can create their own cards and decks, for any theme they wish, which can then be shared with other users - ensuring there'll be no shortage of cards to go by. In fact, you can already use decks that can teach you about all the existing Pokémon, which might be handy considering you're likely to come across people playing Pokémon on the street and you can use your recently acquired knowledge to show you know what you're talking about.
For now the Tinycards app is available only on iOS, but I bet Duolingo is already working on bringing to Android as well.
