Replaced Galaxy Note 7's are still exploding
Looks like Samsung's rush into fixing the rushed battery production problem that lead to its embarrassing total recall is about to get even more embarrassing: as the are are already reports that the new Galaxy Note 7 devices are still catching fire.
With the recall operation under way, there were some users reporting their new Note 7 were still overheating to uncomfortable levels, something that Samsung said was unrelated to the original problem and that would be fixed via a software update. Now, things are heating up - literally - as some of these new units are catching fire just like the original ones.
Will this lead to a new massive recall of the units sent to replace the recalled units? It that's the case Samsung's about to become a very mocked up company... and no one will ever look at a new Samsung launch without worrying about its potential "explosive" properties.
Let's see how this goes...
