A new edition of Comic Con Portugal starts today, and this year it will be 4 days long, from December 8th to the 11th, in northern Portugal - as usual.
There will be lots and lots of well known faces roaming around the venue, like Cobie Smulders, Lennie James, Sean Teale, Kevin Sussman, Jason Isaacs, Ivana Baquero, Rila Fukushima, and lots more; but once again we had some unfortunate last moment cancellations. We have to keep in mind the schedule of these guest is highly fluid and can change at a moment's notice, not to mention plain old bad luck, as was the case with Brian Michael Bendis, who was to come with his family, but one of his sons had some issue with the passport, and ruined all the plans - he'll still be attending his panels remotely, via skype, and has already promised next year he hopes to be present at last.
But the Comic Con even is an experience that goes beyond the stars. It is the only place and event where, for 4 days, we can have movies, TV, gaming, comics, toys, and lots other "universes" all under the same roof. And that's something you won't want to miss should you be interested in any of these themes.
It is recommended that those who visit the event install the Comic Con Portugal app (available for iOS and Android) to keep track of all the things that will be happening at all times. And should you decide to come... I'll see you there! :)
