If you're on the USA you're in for a treat next August 21st, as you'll be able to witness a total solar eclipse - provided you're on the right spot, of course.
Solar eclipses are amazing events (completely natural, should you be worrying about that ;P) and being able to see and feel a total solar eclipse is the sort of experiences you'll never forget. You might even consider planning a trip to your nearest total eclipse spot, which thankfully goes coast to coast, if you don't want to settle for a partial eclipse (some years ago I skipped work and traveled for a few hundred miles to catch a Annular Solar Eclipse - the ones that leave a visible ring around the moon - not quite as amazing as a full total eclipse, but still awesome.)
